Pre-Application Consultation

The information provided below supports our pre-application consultation on a proposed solar (PV) development on Land to the east of the A48 (Coordinates E257386, N209389) and Land to the south west of Tycroes (coordinates E259219, N209551; & E259904, N209590).

The proposal is classed as a ‘Development of National Significance’ (DNS) as it has a design generation capacity of more than 10MW.

As a DNS project, the planning application is managed by the Planning Inspectorate on behalf of Welsh Ministers. In accordance with the Developments of National Significance (Procedure) (Wales) Order 2016, this webpage provides a copy of the documents we propose to submitted as part of the DNS application so that Community Consultees, Specialist Consultees and Relevant Persons can comment on the proposal before we finalise and submit the application.

Any feedback you give will inform a ‘Consultation Report’ which will be submitted as part of the DNS application. The following documents are available for your consideration and comment:
